Morphological, Anatomical and Ecological Study on Some Micromeria Bentham (Lamiaceae) Distributed in The West of Turkey.

In this study, the morphological, anatomical and ecological properties were investigated specifically some Micromeria Bentham distributed in the west of Turkey. Investigated were three Micromeria species distributed in the west of Turkey: Namely Micromeria myrtifolia Boiss & Hohen, Micromeria juliana (L.) Bentham ex Reichb. and Micromeria graeca subsp. graeca (L.) Bentham ex Reichb. In morphological studies; leaf, bract, calyx and corolla were examined and drawn. Furthermore, general appearance and location of the plant were photographed. In anatomic studies, the internal morphological features of the stem and the leaf were examined, and their drawings were done. Furthermore, photos of these structures were taken. In ecological research, pH, texture, organic matter, P, K and lime values of land samples taken from various places were examined. It was determined that land structures in distribution areas of the species were similar.
