Systematics/Phytogeography / Taxonomie/ Section Satil, Fatih [1], Aslan, Mustafa [2], Erdogan, Eyup [1]. Comparative Anatomical Studies on Hyocyamus L. (Solanaceae) in Turkey. In this study, the comparative anatomical structure of six Hyocyamus L. species in Turkey was investigated. Anatomical studies on leaf and stem of species was made using LM techniques. The common and distinct features of six Hyocyamus species have been determined by comparison of the stem and leaf anatomical characters. Some characters can be used to separate the species within the genera. The investigated species can be divided as mesophyl type: bifacial (H. niger, H. albus, H. leptocalyx) and equifacial (H. aureus, H. pusillus, H. reticulatus). Drus crystals are recorded only in mesophyl of H. leptocalyx and H. albus. Stomata present on both surfaces, it is anisocytic (usually) and anomocytic types. H. reticulatus can be separated from other species as type of trichomes in the stem. Vascular bundles are bicollateral bundles. Log in to add this item to your schedule
